Air Freight vs. Ocean Freight: Choosing the Right Option

Not every shipment requires the same transportation solution. Air freight can be a good choice when speed is critical, while ocean freight is often more suitable for larger shipments when there is more flexibility with delivery times.

What to consider

• Compare the complete pickup-to-delivery timeline, not just the transit time.
• Consider the cargo’s size, weight, value, packaging, and handling requirements.
• Factor in inland pickup, customs clearance, and final delivery when planning the shipment.
